I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Claire Hollingsworth of Claire’s Lab. Claire is a middle school student with a passion for STEAM, Girl Power and the Culinary Arts. She was the first champion from Chopped Jr (Food Network) and was also featured on the Chopped Jr Champion episode as well as Guy’s Grocery Games.

Invention and Passion
Claire showed off her awesome Movie Theater Floor treat on GGG for the first time. Since I’m a sucker for food, I asked Claire to teach me how to make it! At RVA MakerFest 2018, she’ll be teaching attendees how to make the treat, as well as talking about her invention, the No Fear Oven Sleeves!
I had the pleasure of spending an evening in Claire’s kitchen, getting to know her and her family. Claire and I talked about her passion for STEAM as well as the process of coming up with cool inventions and recipes. Claire is a vivacious and very well spoken example of an RVA Maker.
